We approach financial planning as a complex problem-solving challenge. For most clients, the most efficient way to debug a financial life is through a short-duration, high-intensity diagnostic. We provide the technical clarity and logic needed to navigate your financial path without unnecessary complexity.
The Single Session Financial Review is for clients seeking a focused, professional assessment of their financial situation. This service is designed to address specific questions, validate current strategies, and provide actionable recommendations in a condensed timeframe.
This review, while not a "comprehensive financial plan", covers a broad array of financial life topics to identify blind spots and design an appropriate investment strategy. Additionally, the analysis will focus on the clients' specific needs and concerns.
Clients typically receive a specific recommendation for a simplified investment portfolio with precise allocation percentages. Depending on the client's situation, this might include a portfolio with a small number of funds or a single fund.
This service is best suited for self-motivated investors who desire a professional assessment but wish to implement recommendations themselves.
This service follows a structured four-step process:
Data Gathering & Goal Setting: Prior to the review, the Client will complete a data gathering questionnaire and upload relevant financial documents. The Client will also outline their specific questions and top financial priorities.
Analysis: We review the provided materials in advance of the meeting to analyze the Client's current financial health, identify potential gaps or risks, and formulate initial recommendations.
Review Meeting: We conduct up to a 2-hour virtual meeting to discuss the analysis. During this session, we will review the Client's financial position, answer the specific questions raised, and collaboratively discuss the recommended strategies.
Written Summary: Following the meeting, the Client receives a written summary. This document outlines the key observations, specific recommendations, and actionable next steps in plain language, allowing the Client to implement the plan independently.
The engagement formally concludes upon the delivery of the written summary.
To ensure the efficiency and focus of the Single Session Financial Review, the following services are expressly excluded from this engagement and are not included in the base fee but may be requested as a Post Engagement Support:
Monte Carlo Analysis: The base review focuses on sustainable distribution rates based on historical data.
Implementation Support: The Client is solely responsible for execution.
Third-Party Coordination: We do not engage in three-way calls with other professionals (CPAs, attorneys, insurance agents).
For a period of 12 months following the termination of the Review, Clients are eligible to request Post Engagement Support (ad-hoc support, implementation questions, meetings, etc.) at our standard hourly rate.
Single Session Financial Review: $4,400, which converts to the hourly rate if the fee under the hourly rate is less.
Post Engagement Support: $400 per hour, subject to a two-hour minimum.
Note: We maintain very limited capacity for ongoing engagements. If you are interested in an ongoing partnership, we typically recommend starting with a Single Session Financial Review to ensure our philosophies align.
Ongoing Financial Planning is reserved for clients who require a continuous collaborative partnership to build and maintain a comprehensive foundational roadmap. We work closely with a small group of long-term partners to implement recommendations, address emerging action items, and update their "living document" as life variables change.
This service is billed based on actual work performed.
Ongoing Financial Planning: $400 per hour
